PRAYER REQUEST and PRAISES

To have your Prayer request and/or Praise posted here just email us at: prayer@thursdaychurch.org and your request or praise will be added and posted on this page. If you would like to have your name added to the request/praise, please feel free to do so. Otherwise it will be listed as an anonymous posting. When the prayer request turns into an answer to prayer, please feel free to let us know as well.

Someone asked: Pray for a friend who is waiting for a lung transplant. She is in bad health right now. 

Someone wrote: Continue to pray for my sister. She has an aneurism in her head. She gets her food stamps soon. Please continue to pray for my friend’s father. He is very sick and is in Hospice in Texas .

A lady wrote: I’m fighting with diabetes and having a lot of trouble with my sugar being too high. I need your prayers that God will help me with this.  Also pray that God will heal my marriage, it’s growing weak and my husband doesn’t believe in God and His power. Pray that God will get us through this. 

A gentleman wrote:  Pray for my mother to give her relief from depression and anxiety.  To relieve her pain. To guide her to her new home, because of me she was evicted.  Also pray for my friends.

Another person wrote: Please pray for my daughter who was just diagnosed with fluid around her brain, she lives in Pennsylvania and is getting treatment out there.  Also pray for my upcoming surgery on my sinus cavities.

Anther lady wrote: Please pray for my friend’s brother.  Also pray for a friend who is the hospital.  Pray for all the children who will be starting school this week. Pray for the teachers too.  Keep praying for us to get a lift van soon and hopefully some cool weather soon. 

Someone wrote: Please continue to pray that I find a job to supplement my disability check.  Also pray that I meet a good Christian lady to fill my life.

Another person wrote: Continue to pray for my sister , she has two aneurisms that can’t be operated on.  Pray for healing.

Someone wrote: I am a diabetic and I am having a really hard time getting my blood sugar regulated.  Pray that God takes my hand and leads me trough this. It’s way too high and it’s very serious. Pray that I can get my numbers down and kept there.  I’m scared but I can do this.

A couple wrote: Please pray for a friend of ours. She was diagnosed on Wednesday with stage four colon cancer that has affected her liver as well.  She will be undergoing surgery on Tuesday of next week to remove the mass on her colon.  Her prognosis is still unknown at this time.

A gentleman wrote: My brother is ill and the doctors do not know what is wrong.  He is in Texas and I cannot be with him. Also, my husband who struggles with his “MAT”.

Someone asked: Please pray for my Mom, Dad, Son, Girlfriend, her Sons and our friends.

Someone asked: Pray for Pastor Debbie's healing during and after surgery and for a speedy recovery. Also pray for those who will try and fill her shoes during her recovery and that Thursday Church will keep up the pattern of growth. Praise God for this Church Family and our Pastor! 

 Someone wrote: Please pray for the flood victims clean-up.

 A gentleman wrote: I'm still looking for a job to supplement my SSDI.  Please keep praying for this.  Also, keep praying for God to bless me with a lady for companionship.

 A lady asked: Praise God, I am so happy my friend got to come to the Hog Roast.  I am still praying that we will get a lift van real soon.  Maybe God will bless us with one if we keep praying.   

Someone wrote: Please continue to ask God to bless me with a job to supplement my SSDI and which will accommodate my disabilities. 

 Another person asked: Pray for my brother who has been diagnosed with liver and bladder cancer and a friend who is in her 20's and has cancer.

 A lady asked: Pray for my mental health.  recently had bipolar episode due to medication and stress.  I need inner peace.  Please also pray for my boyfriend.  He's been my caregiver and we are both bipolar.

 Someone else asked: Pray for the flood victims in Lawrece County some have lost everything.  Some will not return to their homes for a very long time.   

 We had serveral confidential requests that are very deep in nature.  Please pray for these, because God does know each need and will honor our prayers.  

Someone asked: Help our Daughter hear news on a job.

Another person wrote: Pray that Pastor Debbie is well soon. I want to pray for my real good Friend that she will get and apartment soon. I want to Thank God that there is a Thursday Night church for people.

A lady wrote: "A prayer for Amber and for Tina and her boys. Praise- I invited some people and they showed up.  I hope they keep coming.  Praise- I think Pastor Debbie is really good and so it the band."

 Someone wrote: "My prayer request is that my boyfriend be delivered from drugs and alcohol.  I request that he find a job and be a better father to our children.  I also request for my journey and walk with Christ to become stronger."

 A lady wrote: "Pray for my partner that he needs help finding a new job.  And that our relationship continues to grow. Pray for his niece, she is going through some hard times. Thanks for the prayers."

 Someone wrote: "Please pray that I find a job that will accommodate my disabilities.  The disability income is insufficient for my needs."

Another person wrote: Please pray for "God's will for us all"

A lady has asked us to pray for a family who has experienced a death in the family—the loss of a wife and mother.

Someone asked us to pray for a friend who needs delivered from drug & alcohol addiction. Also for another friend's salvation.

A lady asked us to pray for her adult children who are in a bitter dispute. Her daughter wants to make amends and asked for forgiveness but her son is unwilling to accept at this time. She asks us to pray that they can once again be a family.

Please pray for an 11-year-old who was hit by a train the day before his birthday.

Someone asked us to please pray that she has the strength to keep her quiet and to behave in a way that is PLEASING to GOD when it comes to all things that are happening in her Life! She is thankful that she was able to speak with Pastor Debbie She asks all of Thursday Church to keep her in your prayers!

Someone asked us to pray for William Hartzburg who has pancreatic cancer.*Someone asked us to pray for her Dad's mental and physical health, also for her fiances asthma.

Another person asked us to pray for the rising water around their home.

A woman needs prayers as she makes a move out of town.

A lady asked that we pray for her sister who will have surgery.

Please pray for my older son who is making unwise decisions in college.

My mother has had a stoke and heart attach and is in critical condition at St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville.

A lady has asked us to pray for her daughter and her salvation.

 I would like you to pray for all the people who got laid off from Dove Manufacturing this week. May God shine upon them and their families
